Sloss Fright Furnace, established in 1998, is a nationally-recognized, month-long Halloween event that takes place at Sloss Furnaces National Historic Landmark.  Each year approximately 40,000 patrons visit Sloss Furnaces to attend the event.

Rumoured to be haunted, Sloss Furnaces is the perfect location for a Halloween attraction.  Could it be that the spirits lurking within the dark confines of Sloss have gotten into the act as well?  Many top psychics and paranormal investigators think so.

During the past several years, Sloss has garnered nation-wide coverage, being featured on such programs as Fox Family Channel’s hit show Scariest Places on Earth and a documentary filmed with Sloss Fright Furnace workers and renowned psychic and radio host Rosemarie Sellner, which aired on ABC affiliates throughout the Southeast.                                                                           

Each year, increasing numbers of patrons marvel at the incredible special effects within the furnace.  Effects such as figures appearing to float in mid-air, the sound of footsteps, and the sudden change in temperature from one moment to the next keep people coming back for more.
